It’s easy to feel trapped in a bubble, which can create unconscious restrictions that limit our beliefs and darken the paths that should be visible. After spending six years almost entirely isolated, I found my teen years to be both lonely and unremarkable. It was only through the stories I documented that I could reflect on that narrow-minded boy I once was. However, paradoxically, I am grateful for that time as it propelled me toward a critical turning point.
