Pokhara city remains one of my favorite destinations in Nepal. While it serves as a prominent tourist hub for visitors en route to the Annapurna mountain range, it also possesses a charming small-town ambiance accompanied by numerous delightful places to explore.

For those with just one day to experience Pokhara, several key attractions should not be overlooked, including Phewa Lake and Gupteshwor Cave. These sites are essential for a brief yet enriching visit.

Similar to other areas in Nepal, it is advisable to avoid the monsoon season, regarded as the least favorable time for travel. For the most pleasant weather, consider visiting in April and May, when flowers are in bloom and temperatures are moderate.
