One activity I regret missing during my visit was stargazing in Northumberland. The park enjoys several designated dark sky spaces, making it an ideal location to witness the Milky Way. In winter, sightings of the Northern Lights are a possibility. Kielder Observatory hosts various special events offering insights into the stars, with experts on hand to guide you through the constellations beneath some of the clearest skies in Britain.
